An organization’s website is one of its primary ambassadors to the public. We work with clients to deliver websites that create memorable visitor experiences, without sacrificing usability or search engine visibility.
Website Development is an Interactive Process
Creating a website is an interactive process with our clients. For every project, we begin by gathering requirements from our client and conducting detailed research on our client’s industry and needs in order to understand their market and the people who will visit their website.
Next, we establish a creative direction for the website and develop flowcharts and wireframes that outline the logical organization and user navigation. This is called the information architecture of the website.
Following refinements to the website’s information architecture and client approval, we draft web page proofs that communicate to the client both the creative direction and the logical structure of the website. The proofing process may take several revision cycles, and only after client approval do we begin building the website’s code and final graphics.
Browser Compatibility
We develop websites using XHTML and CSS according to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) standards for accessiblity to ensure that each of our client’s websites is accessible to a majority of users on the internet, regardless of which browser or operating system they use. Every website we develop is tested on all major browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla/Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera) as part of our Quality Assurance.
