Open Design was founded by Justin Shull in 2005 with the mission to help small businesses become proficient and profitable on the web. Since 2005, acknowledging the critical role brand identity and market strategy play in a successful internet presence, Open Design has worked closely with clients to align all three of these essential elements, providing brand identity development in conjunction with web design and print design for start-up ventures and evolving organizations.

We work with clients as an advisor and foster these values to ensure successful ventures.
Justin Shull, Principal and Creative Director
Open Design features the design work of founder and creative director Justin Shull. Justin is committed to both user-friendliness and aesthetics in his designs, and has worked with start-up ventures, academic organizations, non-profits, and existing businesses to create coherent brand identity and successful websites.
Justin grew up in New Hampshire and attended Dartmouth College where he first became engaged with design as an interactive media designer at the Interactive Media Laboratory. He has worked as a technology consultant for Fortune 500 companies, holds a Masters of Fine Arts from Rutgers University, and has been awarded numerous awards for his design and art.
